Marty has served as the Pastor of the West End Baptist Church of Greenville, SC for 21 years. Before coming to WEBC he served as a church planter and mission church pastor and has worked with the South Carolina Baptist Convention and the Lexington Baptist Association. A graduate of North Greenville University and Furman University, his theological education includes studies at Mid-America Baptist Theological Seminary and New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary, and he holds a Th. M. from Covington Theological Seminary.
Marty was raised by Godly parents, Dr. Luther and Crawford Price, who modeled what it means to walk with God and be a student of His word. He and his wife Suzanne have a son and two daughters (all married), and seven grandchildren.
Marty’s passion is to bring glory to God by making mature disciples. As a pastor and preacher, he is committed to the faithful preaching and teaching of scripture and sharing the Gospel. His purpose is to proclaim Christ, to teach God’s word with all wisdom, in order to present everyone mature in Christ.
