Melodie Edwards

I am first and foremost a follower of Jesus and redeemed daughter of God, but I am also the wife of my wonderful husband Parks Edwards, and a lover of music and songwriting. God instilled in me a passion for music and composing at a very young age, and when Jesus changed my life and saved me just before age 16, He began to give me opportunities to serve him with music in the church and at school, and He is still graciously allowing me to serve Him in that way today. I attended Anderson University in Anderson, SC and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Music with a Minor in Music Composition. My greatest passion is to glorify God through His beautiful gift of music by writing authentic songs that express truths about God and the honest ups and downs of the Christian walk, the struggles that we all face that are difficult to voice at times. It is only by His grace and His loving pursuit of me that I have been made new, clothed in Christ’s righteousness by which I can glorify Him who has “delivered me from the domain of darkness and transferred me to the kingdom of His beloved Son.” (Col 1:13) I am His and He is mine!
